EKA - the display

About

EKA is a 32 character display that is used to mirror any input of the user or to display notifications, for example about trains that are offered by the neighboring station.

The board uses the same display chip HDSP2112 as the prototype unit from Siemens

The first boards produced worked right away. The only fix I applied for stabile operation: the four capacitors for buffering the supply of the display chips need 10µF tantal in addition to the 100nF.
